Today’s podcast episode is very special indeed. I am grateful for the opportunity to engage in a wide-ranging conversation with David Allen, the world’s leading expert on personal and organizational productivity. David is the author of three books: ‘Getting Things Done: the Art of Stress-Free Productivity’, ‘Ready For Anything’, and ‘Making It All Work: Winning at the Game of Work and Business of Life’. His first book ‘Getting Things Done’ has been a bestseller since its publication in 2001, and is now published in 28 languages, including in Estonian. During our chat, where I am hosting David together with my friend and fellow Holacracy-nut Paul Vahur, we will explore interesting similarities and connections between Getting Things Done approach to personal life management and Holacracy as a management system to running an organization. I hope this conversation inspires all of us to take action so that we may fulfill our personal and organizational dreams.
Me: “What would you say is the most important motivator or reason for managers to implement Getting Things Done and Holacracy?”
David: “It is pretty simple – because it allows to distribute their stress!”
Listen and enjoy!
