The wars in Ukraine and Gaza, global humanitarian and climate crises, and the emergence of new centres of power are challenging the existing world order and norms. How to foster greater mutual understanding and reinforce the rule of international law? Has the UN failed, or is it still our best hope for tackling global issues?
