The topic of energy communities has been relevant for some time now – despite the rise in awareness, we do not yet see many energy cooperatives in Estonia. We aim to identify the main obstacles to the emergence of renewable energy communities, map the key steps to accelerate their deployment and offer practical ideas and inspiration from the example of an existing energy cooperative in Italy.
